SHRI PHANISHWAR NATH RENU ENGINEERING COLLEGE (SPNREC ARARIA) (GEC ARARIA) The emblem of Shri Phanishwar Nath Renu Engineering College (SPNREC Araria) (GEC Arraria) features a red gearwheel housing the motifs of an open book, a rising sun, two abstract humans, a dish antenna, a light bulb, and DNA structure. The wheel is ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college and six stars. Below the seal, on a banner, the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’ is inscribed. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of science, engineering and technology.
