GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGE, BILLAWAR (GDC BILLAWAR) The emblem of Government Degree College, Billawar (GDC Billawar) features a dark circle housing the motifs of an open book and a glowing traditional lamp surmounted by the name of the place of the college and ensconced by a circular border with black outlines inscribed with the name of the college and its place. A banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Quintessence of Quest & Quality’ is placed on the seal at the bottom. The book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.
