KATIHAR ENGINEERING COLLEGE, KATIHAR (KEC KATIHAR) The emblem of Katihar Engineering College, Katihar (KEC Katihar) features a gearwheel with a spanner, a desktop computer and a cable stayed bridge placed in a circle ensconced by a two circular borders inscribed with the name of the college, its year of establishment in the inner border and its motto in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’ and its name in Devanagari in the outer border. The motifs  refer to subject disciplines of science, engineering and technology.
