The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book refers to knowledge, learning, and the pursuit of truth within an educational setting; the grapes with leaves allude to abundance, growth, or potentially a biblical reference; the cross refers to the institution's Christian foundation and values; and the laurels represent academic achievement, victory, and honour.

BISHOP AGNISWAMY COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (BACE) The shield-shaped emblem of Bishop Agniswamy College of Education (BACE) housed the motifs of an open book supporting a hand holding a pen with the head of a lighthouse. The shield is surmounted by a banner inscribed with its tagline ‘Arise! Shine!’ and supported by a banner inscribed with the name and place of the college. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book symbolises knowledge, learning, education, and wisdom; the pen symbolises freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence; and the lighthouse symbolises hope, guidance, safety, and resilience, acting as a steadfast beacon through darkness and storms, representing a safe harbor, steady direction, and inner spiritual light or consciousness that helps navigate life's challenges and find the right path.
