LOKNAYAK JAI PRAKASH INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (LJPIT) The emblem of Loknayak Jai Prakash Institute of Technology (LJPIT) features a gearwheel inscribed with the name of the college housing the motif of an abstract torch with flame or ‘Flambeau’, a transmission tower, a factory, a pair of gear wheels supported by an open book. The gearwheel symbolises technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the torch represents enlightenment, the pursuit of truth and the driving light of education banishing ignorance; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the other refer to subject disciplines of science, engineering and technology.
