JK COLLEGE OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (JKCCSBA) The emblem of JK College of Computer Science and Business Administration (JKCCSBA) features a blue globe of the world with gridlines with a map of India in its tricolours, an open book and a traditional lamp on it. The globe is surmounted by a banner inscribed with the name of the college and supported by a banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘सा विद्या या विमुक्तये’ (Rishi Parāśara, 1,19.41, Viṣṇu Purāṇa) meaning ‘Knowledge is the One That Liberates’ and ‘Education is Liberation’. The globe symbolises a focus on global standard education; the map of India signifies national identity and civic responsibility; the tricolour represents patriotism, unity and respect for the nation; the book symbolises knowledge, continuous learning and academic growth; and the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.
