BIRSA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY SINDRI (BIT SINDRI) The emblem of Birsa Institute of Technology Sindri (BIT Sindri) features a yellow, red and green shield inscribed with the motifs of a structural bridge, a pair of gear wheels and three power symbols. A traditional lamp crests the shield and a yellow banner placed below the shield is inscribed with the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘नियतं कुरु कर्मत्वम्’ (Shloka 8, Adhyay 3, Shrimad Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Perform Your Prescribed Duty’.
