GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC, KODERMA (GP KODERMA) The emblem of Government Polytechnic, Koderma (GP Koderma) features the name of the place and a shield with blue outlines inscribed with the motifs of a gearwheel housing the images of a computer, an industrial set up, set of scientific instruments and a traditional lamp. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya, 1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad), which translates to ‘From Darkness Lead Me to Light’ is inscribed on a blue banner placed below the pictorial.
