GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE, BUXAR (GEC BUXAR) The grey colour emblem of Government Engineering College, Buxar (GEC Buxar) features a circle housing the motifs of an open book and a quill pen supported by the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानम सर्वोत्तम सम्पदा’ meaning ‘Knowledge is the Greatest Wealth’. These motifs are ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college in Devanagari and English. The quill pen is a powerful, universal symbol of communication, creativity, and intellectual pursuit; and the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.
