GOVERNMENT COLLEGE ARKI (GC ARKI) The emblem of Government College Arki (GC Arki) features a yellow circle housing the motifs of an open book, a lotus and a veena placed over the backdrop of a mountain range with peaks, rising sun and flowing rivers  supported by a band inscribed with the motto of the college in Sanskrit, which is an extract from the Kathopanishad ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’ (Shloka 11, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘Immortality is Gained from Learning’. A yellow banner placed on the circle at the bottom half is inscribed with the name of the college in Devanagari. The book represents formal education, the pursuit of knowledge, literacy and the academic foundations offered by the college; the lotus represents purity, self-regeneration and rising above obstacles to attain enlightenment through wisdom; and the veena highlights the institution's commitment to holistic education, creativity and the fine arts.
