GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGE, NOWSHERA (GDC NOWSHERA) The emblem of Government Degree College, Nowshera (GDC Nowshera) features a blue circle housing the motifs of a burning torch and an open book circumscribed by a white circular border inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Love Learning Loyalty’. These elements are placed on a magenta circle inscribed with the name and place of the college. The burning torch signifies the light of wisdom, truth and enlightenment dispelling the darkness of ignorance; and the book serves as the ultimate symbol of formal education, academic learning and the continuous pursuit of knowledge.
