TAGORE COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE (TCAS) The emblem of Tagore College of Arts and Science (TCAS) features an image of Goddess Saraswati and a motif of a desktop computer ensconced by a blue circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. Below the seal, on a blue banner, the motto of the college ‘Dignity Dissemination Dedication’ is inscribed. Goddess Saraswati Goddess Saraswati embodies the essence of vach (speech), knowledge, and creative expression, symbolising the power to purify the self through the flow of wisdom and art. She represents the pursuit of knowledge and truth, free from the distractions and illusions of the material world. The computer refers to science and technology.

THENI COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE (TCAS) The emblem of Theni College of Arts and Science (TCAS) features a shield inscribed with the initials of the college ‘TCAS’ and ‘Where Success Begins’ and the motifs of five stars, an open book with wings and a torch with flame. The shield is supported by a pair of laurels and five stars. The name and place of the college is written at the bottom. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book and scribe refer to education, learning and wisdom; the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; the pair of wings symbolise freedom, transcendence of earthly limitations, spirituality, and divine protection; the set of five stars symbolise the five elements of earth, air, fire, water, and spirit), protection, or the five senses; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
