SWAMI VIVEKANADA ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE, ADAYALAMPATTU (SVASC) The emblem of Swami Vivekanada Arts and Science College, Adayalampattu (SVASC) features a profile picture of Swami Vivekananda supported by a pair of laurels with the name of the college written in orange and blue. Swami Vivekananda symbolises a blend of profound spiritual wisdom, renunciation, and dynamic strength; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

SWAMI VIVEKANANDA ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE (SVASC) The emblem of Swami Vivekananda Arts and Science College (SVASC) features a portrait Swami Vivekananda supported by a traditional lamp, an open book and a lotus and placed on a spread of lotus. The assemblage is surmounted by the name of the college and supported by the place of the college. All these are placed on lotus spread and below the seal, on a red banner, the motto of the college in Tamil ‘ஒழுக்கம் கல்வி உயர்வு’ meaning ‘Discipline Education Elevation’. The lotuses denote purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.
