CAPE ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE (CAPEASC) The emblem of CAPE Arts and Science College (CAPEASC) features a metallic shield housing the motifs of a windmill, a traditional lamp, a satellite dish antenna, a laptop computer and an airplane. A pair of green laurels support the shield on the sides and a red banner inscribed with the name of the college. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the windmill refers to the local landmark of windmills in the region of the college; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the antenna, computer and airplane refer to science and technology; the laurels are are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
