GANDHI INSTITUTE FOR TECHNOLOGY, BHUBANESWAR (GIFT) The emblem of Gandhi Institute for Technology, Bhubaneswar (GIFT) features a pair of blue and red semicircular gear wheels housing the initials of the college with the motifs of an open book and a traditional lamp. The gearwheels symbolise technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.
