NEW AGE DEGREE COLLEGE, BILLAWAR (NAC BILLAWAR) The emblem of New Age Degree College, Billawar (NAC Billawar) features a blue circle inscribed with an open book, a lotus supporting a traditional lamp. The pages of the book are inscribed with the motto of the college in Devanagari ‘सत्यम शिवम् सुन्दरम’, which translates to ‘Truth is God and God is Beautiful’. The circle is circumscribed by the name and place of the college. Below the seal, on a banner, the institution's official credentials, showcasing its formal affiliation with Jammu University and formal recognition by the J&K Government. The book is a universal representation of formal academic training, literacy and structured education; the lotus with the radiating lamp represents the awakening of the intellect, the dispelling of spiritual or mental darkness (ignorance) and purity.
