TATYASAHEB KORE INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY (TKIET) The emblem of Tatyasaheb Kore Institute of Engineering and Technology (TKIET) features a shield inscribed with the motifs of civil engineering equipment, a computer and space science products, an open book, a factory and a handshake. The shield is crested with a glowing sun, surmounted by a pair of banners inscribed with the name of the college its management and supported by a banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Perfection Efficiency Precision’. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; and the other motifs symbolise the subject disciplines of engineering, science and technology.
