RAMGOVIND INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, KODERMA (RIT KODERMA) The emblem of Ramgovind Institute of Technology, Koderma (RIT Koderma) features a yellow, red and blue shield housing the motifs of a transmission tower, a stack of books supporting a traditional lamp, a computer, a set of three gear wheels and a set of three power symbols. Above the shield, on a banner, a pair of laurels and a five-pointed star is inscribed. Below the shield, on a banner, the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘आप्नुहि श्रेयांसमति सर्व काम’ (Sukta 11, Kand 2, Atharva Veda) translating to ‘Surpass Those of Equal Strength and Advance to A Higher Position’. At the bottom, the tagline of the college ‘Discipline & Obedience’ is written.
