GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE, KAIMUR (GEC KAIMUR) The emblem of Government Engineering College, Kaimur (GEC Kaimur) features a gearwheel inscribed with the name and place of the college in Devanagari and English housing the motifs of an open book, wind turbine, a dish antenna, a structural bridge and a gearwheel. Below the seal, on a banner, the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’ is inscribed. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the other motifs refer to subject disciplines of science, engineering and technology.
