TIRUKKOILUR COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE (TIRUKKOILUR COLLEGE) The emblem of Tirukkoilur College of Arts and Science (Tirukkoilur College) features a computer and an open book supporting hand holding a nib of pen with a glowing flame atop. These are ensconced by a red circular border inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Wisdom Leads to Victory’. A mortarboard hat crests the seal. A yellow banner inscribed with the name of the college and place are placed on the circle at the bottom. The computer refers to science and technology; the book refers to education, learning and wisdom; the nib of a pen symbolises freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence; the mortarboart hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; and the glowing flame symbolises a multifaceted blend of purification, transformation, knowledge, and divinity, often representing both destruction and renewal.
