NEW MODERN DEGREE COLLEGE, JAMMU (NMDC JAMMU) The emblem of New Modern Degree College, Jammu (NMDC Jammu) features a red Triratna with a circle in the middle holding a red star. The initials of the college ‘NMS’ and a pair of leaves are inscribed on the Triratna. The motif is ensconced by a yellow border inscribed with the name of the managing body and its year of establishment. The red star symbolises excellence, illumination and guiding students toward brilliant horizons in their academic journeys; and the stylized Triratna form mirrors a stylised lotus or flaming torch, which signifies purity, deep-rooted knowledge and the ignition of intellectual curiosity.
