RAJIV GANDHI GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE, KANGRA (RGGEC KANGRA) The emblem of Rajiv Gandhi Government Engineering College, Kangra (RGGEC Kangra) features a light blue circle housing the motif of an atomic structure surrounded by a globe with an orbital ring, a robotic hand, a microscope, an openbook, drafting tools and matting gears. The circle is ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and palace  of the college. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘अभियांत्रिकी नवोत्कर्ष राष्ट्राय समर्पयामः’, which translates to ‘Let us Dedicate Engineering Innovation to the Nation’ is written on a banner placed below the seal. The atomic structure symbolises foundational physics, nuclear science and the bedrock of all engineering disciplines. The book represents knowledge, academic pursuit and continuous learning; the other motifs refer to the different subject disciplines of science, engineering and technology.
