BP MANDAL COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (BPMCE MADHEPURA) The emblem of BP Mandal College of Engineering (BPMCE Madhepura) features a brown gearwheel housing the motifs of a diagram of an atom, a structural bridge, a windmill, a torch with flame, an open book and a rising sun. The wheel is ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. Below the seal, on a banner, the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘सिद्धिर्भवति कर्मजा’ (Shloka 12, Chapter 4, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Success is Born of Action’ is inscribed. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure, the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power, the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the rising sun sun symbolises the dawn of knowledge, education and the elimination of ignorance through learning; and the other motifs ...
