GOVERNMENT WOMEN'S POLYTECHNIC, PATNA (GWP PATNA) The emblem of Government Women's Polytechnic, Patna (GWP Patna) features a pink gearwheel housing a globe with grid lines , stylised set of figures of women and the college’s motto ‘Empowering Through Knowledge’. The name of the college and its year of establishment is written around the gearwheel. The gearwheel represents industry, engineering and technical education; the grid lines forming a globe represent global standards, broad horizons and universal knowledge; the central figures represent women supporting each other, symbolising sisterhood, growth and development in education.
