GANDHI INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY (GIIT) The blue circular emblem of Gandhi Institute of Industrial Technology (GIIT) features the initials of the college supporting the motifs of an ink pot and a pen writing on a substrate and a traditional lamp. These are ensconced by a gearwheel circumscribed by the name and place of the college. The gearwheel symbolises technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the ink pot with writing pen refers to education, learning, knowledge and wisdom; and the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope.
