GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC FOR WOMEN, KANDAGHAT (GPW KANDAGHAT) The emblem of Government Polytechnic For Women, Kandaghat (GPW Kandaghat) features a yellow oval housing the motifs of a dish antenna, an artificial satellite and the winged Staff of Caduceus entwined by a pair of snacks.The oval is ensconced by an orange oval border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The motifs in the oval refer to the subject disciplines of engineering and technology being taught in the college. The colour yellow symbolises happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity; and orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.
