D.Y. PATIL EDUCATION SOCIETY'S DR. D. Y. PATIL TECHNICAL CAMPUS (DYPTC) The blue colour shield-shaped emblem of D.Y. Patil Education Society's Dr. D. Y. Patil Technical Campus (DYPTC) features a red sun supporting an abstract tree with its trunk depicted as a nib of a pen. The motto of the college ‘Knowledge is Power’ is written above the tree. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the tree symbolises strength, individuality, expression, calmness, growth, the interconnectedness of everything and perpetuity; and the nib of a pen symbolises freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence.
