AYIRA VAISYA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (AVBED PMK) The emblem of Ayira Vaisya College of Education (AVBEd Pmk) features the initials ‘AVCE’ crested by a mortarboard hat and supported by a pair of laurels . The motifs are crested by the motto of the college in Tamil ‘உண்மை உழைப்பு உயர்வு’ and ‘Truth Hard Work Growth’ and supported by a yellow banner inscribed with the name of the college. Below the seal, the place of the college and the tagline of the college ‘Character is Life’. The mortarboard hat hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
