MOHAN LAL DUTT GOVERNMENT COLLEGE KHAD (GDC KHAD) The emblem of Mohan Lal Dutt Government College Khad (GDC Khad) features a yellow circle housing the motifs of green mountain peaks, a flowing stream, deodar trees, an open book, a traditional lamp and a pair of green laurels. The circle is ensconced by a blue circular border inscribed with the name of the college and its motto in Sanskrit. The mountain peaks, deodar trees and the river refer to the beautiful lush green valley formed by the River Swan and overlooking the picturesque Shivalik Hills; the book is a universal symbol of knowledge, continuous learning and academic excellence; the lamp signifies the enlightenment that dispels ignorance, guiding students from darkness toward wisdom; and the laurels represent growth, honour and victory in achievements.
