IMAM-UL-HAQ KHAN LAW COLLEGE, BOKARO STEEL CITY (IHKLC BOKARO) The emblem of Imam-ul-Haq Khan Law College, Bokaro Steel City (IHKLC Bokaro) features a green circle housing the motifs of a two pan beam balance, a quill pen, Arabic calligraphy and a star. The circle is ensconced by a red circular border inscribed with the name of the college’s managing body. The scales are the scales of justice representing fairness, balance and impartiality in the legal process; the quill pen represents the power of the written word, scholarship, and the pursuit of knowledge; the calligraphy reads ’إمام الحي’ translates to ‘Leader of the Living’ reflecting the institution's Islamic cultural heritage and its namesake; the star-like geometry signifies guidance, excellence and high aspirations for its students; the colour green represents peace, growth and traditional Islamic values; and red symbolises strength, vitality and the passion for justice.
