GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC, KHARSAWAN (GP KHARSAWAN) The emblem of Government Polytechnic, Kharsawan (GP Kharsawan) features a shield inscribed with the motifs of a set of electrical transmission towers with lines, a diagram of an atom, a dish antenna and a computer. The shield is surmounted by a banner inscribed with the name and place of the college and supported by a banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘विद्या ददाति विनयात् श्रेयस्’ (Narayan Pandit, 6, Hitopadesha) meaning ‘Education Makes one Humble’. The motifs in the oval refer to the subject disciplines of engineering and technology being taught in the college; and the shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery.
