ROLAND INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (RIT) The yellow circular emblem of Roland Institute of Technology (RIT) features a blue elephant, a satellite dish antenna, a solar panel, a computer, a spacecraft and a glowing sun along with the name of the college written on a black banner. These are ensconced by a circular border with red outlines inscribed with the name and place of the college and a pair of traditional lamps. The blue elephant profound stability, wisdom, and protection; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the lamps symbolise light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering.
