RAM TAHAL CHAUDHARY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, RANCHI (RTCIT RANCHI) The emblem of Ram Tahal Chaudhary Institute of Technology, Ranchi (RTCIT Ranchi) features the motifs of an open book, a swan, rising sun, a traditional lamp and a lotus placed in a circle ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college in Devanagari, a pair of laurels and its motto in Sanskrit. This assemblage is placed on a serrated circular border or outer ring resembling a sunburst, which represents the radiant energy of education and its far-reaching impact on society. The book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; swans are are sacred and are symbols of grace and beauty; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; and the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming ...
