SYED HAMEEDHA ARABIC COLLEGE (SHAC) The logo of Syed Hameedha Arabic College (SHAC) features a crescent moon inscribed with the Arabic inscription of ‘كيفكري تاميل نادو الهند’ of the name of the place of the college holding a foldable lectern with an open book (Quran) surmounted by an Arabic inscription of the name of the college ‘كلية سيد حميدة العربية’. The name of the college is written on the right in green and black. The crescent moon widely believed that the crescent moon and star is an internationally-recognized symbol of Islam; the lectern elevates the book off the floor, signifying reverence, respect, and the sacredness of the knowledge being studied; and the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.
