DR. SARVEPALLI RADHAKRISHNAN GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGE DHARAMPUR (DSRGDC DHARAMPUR) The emblem of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Government Degree College Dharampur (DSRGDC Dharampur) features a segment of a circle housing a green mountain range with peaks, a temple crested by a trishul or trident placed in lotus spread, a winding pathway and an open book. The segment is ensconced by a yellow circular border inscribed with  the name and place of the college. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘विद्यया विन्दतेऽमृतम्’ (Verse 4 II, Kena Upanishad), which translates to ‘By Self-knowledge Immortality is Attained’ is written on a blue banner supporting the seal. The mountain range refers to the Kasauli Hills, which forms the local geography; the temple refers to the Dharampur Devi temple, which is a Sidht Sakti Peeth of Goddess Durga symbolising the heritage, history and divine blessings, the trishul placed in a lotus spread is the symbol of Devi; the book is a universal symbol fo...
