TMG COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE (TMGCAS) The emblem of TMG College of Arts and Science (TMGCAS) features a shield housing the motifs of a gearwheel inscribed with the name and place of the college with a torch with flame in the centre. Below the shield, on a banner, the motto of the college ‘Knowledge is Power’ is written. The name of the college is written on an open book placed above the shield. The book refers to education, learning and wisdom; the shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the gearwheel technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power.
