ABHILASHI EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY (AES) The emblem of Abhilashi Educational Society (AES) features an image of Goddess Saraswati supported by an open book and a pen placed on a circle with way edges ensconced by a cyan circular border inscribed with the name of the society. A cyan banner inscribed with the initials’AES’ of the institution is placed below the seal. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘विद्या ददाति विनयम्’ (Narayan Pandit, 6, Hitopadesha), which translates to ‘Education Makes one Humble’ is inscribed on a cyan oval panel placed at the bottom. Goddess Saraswati is the Goddess of knowledge, music, arts, wisdom and learning. She is depicted holding the Veena (a stringed musical instrument), which signifies the tuning of the mind and intellect to harmony and creative wisdom. The book and the pen represent formal education, scholarship, and the continuous pursuit of academic excellence.
