AUXILIUM COLLEGE (AUTONOMOUS) (AUXILIUM COLLEGE) The emblem of Auxilium College (Autonomous) (Auxilium College) features an open book with a traditional lamp and a white lily ensconced by a purple circular border inscribed with the name of the college and its motto ‘Knowledge and Virtue’. The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the lily symbolises purity, innocence, rebirth, and virtue, and represents the Virgin Mary.
