CAMBRIDGE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, RANCHI (CIT(R)) The light blue coloured shield-shaped emblem of Cambridge Institute of Technology, Ranchi (CIT(R)) features the motifs of a transmission tower, a computer, a pair of gear wheels, a hammer and a spanner and an open book inscribed with the initials of the college ‘CIT(R)’. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘सत्यमेवजयते’, which translates to ‘Truth Alone Triumphs’ is written on a blue banner placed below the shield. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of science, engineering and technology.
