C.M.S. COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (CMSCE) The circular emblem of C.M.S. College of Education (CMSCE) features a compass rose surrounded by the motifs of an open book, a computer, a torch and a digital instrument ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The compass roses is a Christian symbol of Jesus and his Mother Mary, and a symbol of nobility and royalty throughout Europe; the book refers to education, knowledge, learning and wisdom; and the other motifs refer to science, technology and learning. The seal is surmounted by a banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Arise Awake Advance’ and supported by a banner inscribed with the name of the place. Below the emblem, the year of establishment of the college is written.
