T.D.T.A.D.S. DANIEL RAJAMMAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (DANIEAL RAJAMMAL COLLEGE) The emblem of T.D.T.A.D.S. Daniel Rajammal College of Education (Danieal Rajammal College) is a blue shield housing the motifs of a red cross placed on a torch with flame. The shield is supported by a banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Arise and Shine’. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the cross is the primary symbol of Christianity, representing the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, his victory over sin and death, and his ultimate sacrifice for humanity; and the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power.
