DR RADHAKRISHNAN GOVERNMENT MEDICAL COLLEGE, HAMIRPUR (RGMC HAMIRPUR) The emblem of Dr Radhakrishnan Government Medical College, Hamirpur (RGMC Hamirpur) features a circle housing the motif of a snow-cladded mountain range with peaks, rising sun, an open book, the Staff of Caduceus with a pair of wings and entwined serpens and pinkish-red flower bloom in the foreground. The circle is ensconced by a blue circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः’ (35.51, Garuḍa Purāṇa), which translates to ‘May All be Happy, May All be Free from Illness’ is written below the seal.
