MOTIHARI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (MCE MOTIHARI) The emblem of Motihari College of Engineering (MCE Motihari) features the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi placed on a halo and ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college in Devanagari. Motihari, the headquarters of the East Champaran district in Bihar, is the historic birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi's first civil disobedience movement, the Champaran Satyagraha of 1917.
