GOVERNMENT GIRLS POLYTECHNIC, MEJA (GGP MEJA) The emblem of Government Girls Polytechnic, Meja (GGP Meja) features the motifs of a building, a human with a computer, a textile pattern, a pestle, mortar and other instruments and a profile silhouette of a woman on a circle ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college in Devanagari. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः’ (1.4.14, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘May All be Happy May All be Healthy’ is written below the seal. The woman symbolises the core focus of the institution: women's development and empowerment through technical proficiency; the other motifs symbolises the branches of subject disciplines taught in the polytechnic.
