GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGE, RAMKOTE (GDC RAMKOTE) The emblem of Government Degree College, Ramkote (GDC Ramkote) features a circle housing the motifs of a mountain range with yellow rising sun, an open book and a pair of laurels ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college and its motto’ Knowledge is Power’. The mountains represent high ideals, strength, endurance and the geographic setting of the region; the sun symbolises the dawn of knowledge, enlightenment and the eradication of ignorance; the book stands for education, continuous learning, wisdom and accessibility to knowledge; and the laurels signify victory, honor, academic achievement and success.
