ANANDA COLLEGE, HAZARIBAGH (AC HAZARIBAGH) The emblem of Ananda College, Hazaribagh (AC Hazaribagh) features a red shield housing the motifs of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, rising sun, Canary Hill and Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose on a yellow plaque. The motto of the college in Devanagari ‘विश्व विद्यातीर्थ प्रांगण करो महोज्ज्वल’ (Rabindra Sangeet by Rabindranath Tagore) meaning ‘Illumine/Make the courtyard of the university of the world resplendent/glorious’ is inscribed around the plaque. On a red banner placed below the shield, the name of the college is written in Devanagari.
