BHUBANESWAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (BIT) The inverted octagon-shaped green textile brand patch-like emblem of Bhubaneswar Institute of Technology (BIT) features an open book supporting a blue mortarboard hat surmounted by the motto of the college ‘Inspiring Innovations’. On a blue banner placed on the patch at the bottom ‘BIT’ is inscribed. The green octagonal patch conveys stability, brand identity, quality, heritage, a balanced nature, environmental awareness, sustainability, prosperity, wealth and value through visual storytelling. The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage.
