GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGE, BARAMULLA (GDC BARAMULLA) The emblem of Government Degree College, Baramulla (GDC Baramulla) features a blue circle housing a five-pointed star and ensconced by a green circular border inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Through Hardwork to the Stars’ and its year of establishment. Below the seal, on a yellow banner, the name of the college is written. The seal is crested by a soaring eagle. The star symbolises the ultimate goals of high achievement, enlightenment and intellectual distinction that students are encouraged to reach for; and the eagle represents vision, freedom, higher perspective and the ambition of the students to soar above obstacles in pursuit of their education.
