GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGE, DODA (GDC DODA) The green and black emblem of Government Degree College, Doda (GDC Doda) features a diamond frame holding the name of the college around its border. It houses a crescent curves-shaped monogram of ‘GDCD’ and a mortarboard cap. The motto of the college in Arabic ‘رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا’, which translates to ‘My Lord, Increase Me in Knowledge’ and its year of establishment are written on a green banner placed below the pictorial. The mortarboard hat or the graduation cap signifies higher academic learning, scholarship and graduation; the two crescent curves face outward symmetrically from the center, mirroring traditional visual motifs used in regional educational symbols.
