VIDYA SAGAR (FORMERLY THE SPASTICS SOCIETY OF INDIA) The emblem of Vidya Sagar (formerly The Spastics Society of India) features a pink monogram of ‘VS’ depicted as a swan on a cyan stripe and supported by its name in cyan with a pink underline. The swan is considered sacred and are symbols of grace and beauty; the colour cyan symbolises sky, hope and spring, peace, tranquillity, calmness, relaxation and emotional balance; and the colour pink denotes love, nurturing and compassion.
